I am in the United States and we are doing Back to the 80's in February. I too would be interested if anyone taped their production, and would be willing to share! It sounds like fun.

Hi! I'm in AUS and my school is doing this musical. We WILL be recording it. We are performing on the 26th, 28th and 29th of June.

Actually, we're doing it on the 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and the 28th. We do record it, but no-one ever sees the end product on tape or DVD.

24th, 25th-Matinees for school kids.
26th-Premier-Invitation Only
27th, 28th- Night Performances for the general public.

I am from Scotland and my school is about to embark on putting on Back to the 80's as our summer show. I am looking for any recordings of the performance from any schools that have done it and advice on how you structured the rehearsal process.

Hey all

I played Feargal in Back to the 80's last year, and it was recorded on all nights, and was made into DVD. If anyone would like a copy of this DVD (I don't know - to check staging,lighting, dancing etc..), please get back to me, however I will have to charge a small fee, as I myself have got to buy the DVD from school. and also pay postage and packing.

Ther original pro-am stage performance in Sydney was filmed and a DVD produced. If you contact Neil Gooding the writer and producer he might be able to provide a copy.
